'Guardians' Limited Edition Print
Archival-certified limited edtiion giclee print of my original painting, “Guardians.” Prints will be limited to 30 of each size on paper, and 15 of each size on canvas!
On just about every river trip I’ve been on, someone at some point points out a face in the canyon walls (with and without the help of ‘scenery enhancers.’) There are a lot of Indigineous chiefs, gorillas, and of course, phallic spires. Perhaps this is due to our natural human tendency toward pattern recognition, a la Rorschach. However, I like to think the faces are our ancestors blessing our safe passage, watching and chuckling as we scout the puny rapids, as if we had any control over our fate.
