'Into the Storm' Limited Edition Print

from $65.00

Limited Edition, signed archival print of my original painting, “Into the Storm”. This piece was inspired by childhood memories of driving across the plains of South Dakota during massive afternoon thunderstorms, my more current experiences in whitewater and my journey with grief. Unlike cattle who will try to move away and resist an oncoming storm, buffalo have the biological instinct to head directly into it, ultimately minimizing their suffering. Resilience is accepting the wave.

Additional Information

    • Paper is larger than the listed size, as there is a ~1.25" white border around the actual image to enable easier matting

    • Image itself is shrunk down ~1/4" from size listed to expose signature line when matted or framed in the corresponding standard sized mat/frame.

    • Printed on stretched canvas with .75” black border

    • Canvas: Thick 350 gsm 2x1 19 mil, Ph-neutral, poly-cotton canvas. Combined with OEM archival water-based inks and the glossy surface, this canvas yields the maximum color saturation, contrast and longevity available today. Many people have been fooled that these prints are original works!

This was a first! I made a painting for ME. For my own house.

Thus, it took me over a year but I finally finished this bebe commemorating one of my top 3 fave campsites and bike trips ever…on the White Rim in Canyonlands National Park.

So,
You want a ponderosa, wildflowers, water or waves? You can bet your sap-covered a$$ I have spent about a gazillion hours marveling, sketching, painting, sitting on and napping under all of these wild elements to figure out how to interpret them in al
