Acrylic on wood, 16x20 2020

This was an intuitive painting inspired by a few words from a poem I heard as we all entered the Covid-19 lockdown. It was a way to let it all go - learning to be comfortable with uncertainty, simply feeling into each moment and painting in response. The overall result I think is pretty indicative of the whirlwind of thought and emotion during that time, and the unrelenting presence of beauty through chaos and covered faces.
